Hello! My name is Cecília.Now that my three children are adults, I find myself with some free time and a desire to reinvent my professional life.
With a degree in architecture and 25 years of experience as a graphic and web designer (including work for the National Library of Portugal and other clients), I’ve also authored three books on local history — the collection «E Assim se Fez Esta Terra», («And So This Land Was Made»).
Having lived in Lisbon, Setúbal, and now Palmela, I know this region very well.
The idea of becoming a personal assistant for foreigners came to me after seeing friends struggle with the challenges of daily life in Portugal. From renting a home to go to medical appointments or using public transport, small hurdles can feel overwhelming — especially without a support system.
Realizing how many people face similar difficulties, I've been helping expat friends settle in and adapt to their new home. Now, I’ve decided to turn this into a professional service, offering my expertise, time, and local knowledge to make life easier for those who have chosen Portugal as their new home.
